My manager is forcing me to work on a tech stack I am not interested.i tried learning that but it's too difficult for me to work on that.what should I do l,his manager is saying If will not work I need to face consequences.what i should do??
You can try to escalate and get into a project you desire but most probably your rating for this year will be met-expectations because this same thing happened to me, i was in a project and i wanted to learn and grow my expertise in frontend, i did manage to get an internal project but my previous managers bad feedback got me met-expectations even though both places i worked very well.
Apply IJP not much here can help or look outside .. already went through this phase .. Managers doesn’t respond back and are least interested unless you have a dependency 🙃
