Should I move to Bangalore? Is it worth the hype?

Before asking my question, I'll explain my situation.

Myself: I am 23, living in a village, attended a Tier 3 college. I've been a front-end developer for the last 3 years, with 1.5 years of full-time experience. Currently, I'm working from home. I aspire to create products that solve problems for myself and those around me. I enjoy reading books. My goals include building hobby products that can be monetized, learning extensively, becoming a content creator, and maintaining fitness.

My current company: A fintech startup with a well-established presence, offering a very good salary. The tech team consists of 15 members, and there's a good culture with flexible working hours and unlimited leaves. The company follows a WFH first policy, but there's also an office in Bangalore with fewer than 5 people attending regularly. I'm very happy to be part of this company and team.

Confusion: I have FOMO about not moving to Bangalore for networking, team collaboration, and the occasional change from working at home. Sometimes, it feels boring to work from home, and I feel I'm missing out on professional and personal growth opportunities. I've encountered people advising me to move out of my home, saying this is the early stage of my career and I'll miss out on a lot of things. I've spent a couple of weeks in Bangalore before, and my experience was mixed: Pros included the ability to meet people in person and occasional enjoyment of going out, while cons included traffic, issues with accommodation and food, commuting, expenses, lack of a proper routine, and difficulty finding time for myself.

The question: Will I miss out on anything I've mentioned above? I understand that both WFH and WFO have their trade-offs, but I don't have much experience to decide on this. Please help me if you can.

Thanks for your valuable time

I feel atleast in initial stages of your career, it makes more sense to work from office. You will learn a lot from your peers and seniors. Also Bangalore is full of companies and techies so if you are good at socialising you will get a very good exposure outside office as well

Move to Bangalore dude for few years atleast. You will need the exposure. And initial few years of your career it's quite mandatory to be in person for your personal growth. Remember that it's not only about coding and your tech skills in the long run. You will have to build a career for yourself which means shaping your leadership life. If people don't even see you, how will they trust you with leadership. Come n be part of building together.

However since u r still not here, one clean request. Try to learn kannada as much as possible, we are one country. Bangalore supports you folk, it's time you support it back as well. Help preserve local culture. It's very important, if you don't do it, then the other side will also stop doing their bit.

Good luck!
