Trending @Infosys; Should I leave without any offer?

I've been on JL4 for 2 years and they haven't given a single rupee hike. And now for promotion they say to go for IJP which was implemented last year. I don't have a financial crunch as I have saved up good amount of money, but feel really bad that everyone from my batch have progressed onto better comps in their companies (or via switch). I've also been a hard worker and got best reviews from clients but they always give me 3/5 perf rating (which fks up my bonus as well). I don't think I can let anymore of my self respect down and want to leave these losers even if as of now I don't have any other offer. I see a lot of companies want immediate joiners or someone on notice period.

Should I leave without an offer or not?

I joined infy as a fresher and worked for 3 years without any hike. everytime there was different excuses . 1st year completion: probation is not completed. 2nd year completion: probation+ 2 years are required. 3rd year completion: you need to have atleast 18 months of experience within the same project of a client.

Once I heard this I resigned few months after without any offer in hand . And that was the best decision of my life

Because now I am working in product based company with decent package for 3 yoe automation tester.

I've been on the same page buddy. Been on JL 4 for 2 years and no hike and 3/5 rating till now frustrated me as well after being a critical res. So get an offer (play smart here like once u get offer, ask for release, go to bench and then you can get out of infy quickly if they want immediate joinees) and then move out from this company and don't get into this dark past.

But to get first offer at least need to get interview call and here comes the biggest roadblock ie 90 days np which recruiters don't prefer. this 90 days np thing is very much messed up and exploitative.

Not a bad package but yes if you switch you will get at least 13-14 lpa. But first in Naukri I will say change you profile to serving notice period. Clear one or two interviews at least. After that you will gain the confidence. But again think carefully I would say.

Haha , frow where u guys gather so much strength 😂😂. I have 2 offers in-hand but still thinking abt it.
Just do not jump for the sake of money . Right now the job market is not that good , openings are slow, but there will be. One in hand is better than 2 in the bush. Money is important but not like this

Exactly the reason why I haven't put my papers. Job market trending bad since the beginning of the year.

Hi @70hrslave, Don't want to scare you buddy. My situation is the same as yours, but one thing I have experienced in the past 2 months, where I gave 4 interviews for different companies but not been able to crack any, is that due to the dull market scenario, the level of interviews have gotten too difficult. I faced questions in the interview which were apt for people with 3-4 yoe and I have just 1.5 yoe on the tool that I work on. Also they're not offering as much package as they were offering earlier. So tread lightly my friend. Once resigned, taking back that resignation ruins your reputation among your managers and team. Best luck
