Should I just have one offer as a fresher or grab multiple offers ?

First be sure of what you want to do. As a fresher don't expect co. To offer you bada** salaries. Stick to one, specialise and gain the power to bargain in long-run

Also prefer the company that is more stable financially or just tight business wise. Its very easy to know the high level financials and previous layoffs of all companies on the net. Lesser known the company, more scary it is. Definetly have more than 1 offers ready.

More the merrier. You could push your take home up by 15-20%

In this market, getting multiple offer would be tough. If you do have the skills and take the offers then it’s really good. You may never know which companies might end up rescinding the offers/ or push the joining date.

Some folks are predicting the recession to last through 2023, which means we are not done with layoffs yet
