Should I join GCC? need advice
Hi folks, I have total of 13+ yrs of experience. I am with TCS Pune, working for an American Client. Now client has setup a GCC in hyderabad. They have started hiring for various positions. My senior from client company, is insisting me to join the GCC. The position is good and comparatively payscale will be lucrative, although I don't have exact idea on it.
What should I do considering current situation?
- It will be relocation for me from Pune to hyderabad as they have hybrid model.
- Are there any legal issue in joining same client with whom I am working. Although I will be joining their GCC affiliated entity and not direct client company.
I think yes, GCCs are not bad as such, and you will be working for sure under a bigger brand and can break the service industry tag,
As GCC is opening soon there will be ramp down in your project and you might face layoff. Join GCC if they are paying good and also Hyderabad has a lot of other opportunities as well
There is no legal issue as far as I know to join a client, I have noticed multiple such cases
