Should I go for the switch?
So, little context. I joined a startup a couple of months ago. Initially everything was fine. But then very soon, my team lead became extremely toxic. Shouting at me, swearing at me in calls because I didn't do things his way. He would get on long screen sharing sessions with me, where he'd micromanage me to the point that he would get annoyed if I didn't use the keyboard shortcuts he asked for. He would get annoyed if I used the terminal for pushing code instead of using the IDE and many other similar petty instances. He never listens to my engineering ideas and always offloads all his work upon me - he hasn't completed a single ticket ever since I joined. Unfortunately, the company I am at doesn't really have a real HR and the team lead is a close friend of one of the top guys at the company. The working hours are also crazy sometimes and I end up working 12-14 hours a day because the job is remote.
I have a matching offer from another startup, with whom I worked part time for the past 2.5 years, the CEO really respects me and he wants me to lead his new product. I have been working with them for a long time and they've always respected my boundaries and engineering decisions. The CEO has offered to match my current offer but then I'd be losing on the part time income from them.
Current comp : 32 from full time + 9 from part time Comp if I resign: 32 base + 3 retention
Tldr; should I resign from the toxic startup and lose about 9 lakhs of yearly compensation from my part time job which will then get converted to full time.
