Should I even bother applying to Google Internship?

I have a basic game and a to-do list app made in swift in my resume projects, 8+ cgpa, Tier 2 college. Pretty basic as I just started my journey in dev. able to solve LC mediums relatively easily. Is it worth the attempt? Me I don't think it is but my mates say apply anyways. What does the community think?
