Should I continue being a QA lead or switch to any other tech with lower package?

I am mostly Functional QA with 9 years of experience in P&C insurance Industry. I have done API testing using postman and SoapUi. Worked for small duration recently on Playwright/GT UI/API. Looking for suggestion to what should I focus on to either grow as a QA or switch entirely to something like SDET to crack a Product company with better work life balance and package.
