Should I buy Echo pop or Echo dot

I am planning to buy an Echo device for my mom. Usecase would be answering phone calls, listening to music while cooking/working and setting alarms or countdown timer. But i am confused between Echo dot and Echo Pop. She doesnt need temp sensor or motion sensor. Any existing echo users please advice.
