Should I buy a gift at the first meeting for arrange marriage?
Hi folks, Little background, I, 25 M, belong to conservative practising family and I am going to see a girl for arrange marriage, most probably with my family in same village.
I don't know much about girl's family as I am not well informed about my village, most probably they also are conservative. I haven't seen girl we have just exchanged biodata.
Should I buy a gift for her or will it be too awkward?

But in cities, families visiting someone's house bring sweets,dry fruits, or a gift hamper.. anything of that sort.
