Should I be retained??

I have been working with Northern Trust for 4.3 years ,and now got an offer from Barclays.

Total YOE : 5.5 current CTC : 13.17 Offered from Barclays: 22LPA Retention CTC : 21 LPA

I started as a support role within Northern Trust but slowly started contributing to the data engineer role from 2 years . Since my current employer was not changing my title as developer and not increasing my CTC,I decided to look outside and got three offers including Barclays as a data engineer role .

My current company now wants to retain me by giving the role and matching the offer by 60-70 percent.

Should I get retained,or go ? I am a little scared about the pressure I need to face when I join a new company as an experienced data engineer ?

Will I survive or should I consider the option to retain ??

Do not ever stay at a firm who come back with a retention or accepted your demands only once you have an offer leave asap

Get out. Your retainer is time for the company to get rid of you in the next wave. Plus they match only 70% instead of 100%

If you've learnt as much possible, then leave . If there's a ton to learn, a solid growth path, then stay.

Okay , and do you think 21 LPA base is decent for 5.5 YOE

Don't stay back. It's not only about CTC but about new experiences.
