Should I approach my manager?

I have been added to data team recently even though I'm more into web(software intern) Here I have been given task like data analysis and validation Every day I query the db It feels so much boring and I'm not interested too I'm much interested in like web,gen ai or making any tools/ extensions rather than this querying or CSV's matching everyday

Should I approach my manager regarding this ? How to tell him that I don't like these types of task ? Will it affect my PPO or my future with org

Note: I have been an intern from past 7 months in same org 😔
