Shocking reality of workplace

I’ve discovered something about how things work behind the scenes, and honestly… it changes everything.

The way promotions happen, the way recognition works, or even the way decisions are made...it’s not always what it seems on the surface.

If you’ve ever felt like there’s a missing piece to the puzzle, you’re not alone. I’ll share more soon... or maybe you already know.

Here’s the catch: The moment you get to know these secrets, it’s often too late. I hope this helps someone before it’s just hindsight.

One associate had worked for 5.5 years in a project and released him just before promotion. Now he is asking for a promotion which his earlier manager had raised...when I checked with HR they were denying. So be careful of promotion and project timelines.

Yes this kind of exploitation is common

Recently I got 3 people out of which I had the option to select 1 for PIP. When I saw their profiles and talked to them I found they were not that bad. But it's the HRs who are forcing managers to evaluate them as per their wish.

You are absolutely right .. once you know how things work it won't be the same as we look at things .. for leads the pressure is from HR either bands , promotions, pips or releases ..

For HRs pressure is from their peers which they have to follow .. We are all pawns in corporate games .

The day we understood it was nothing personal and we had to do what was best for us not for the project not for the company then it's good .
