shawarma inflation in bangalore?

Can someone explain why the prices of shawarmas are so ridiculously high now days? Is it just because of Ramadan?

Earlier a handful of restaurants would charge high 120+ and it was justified in terms of taste and quality. But now I'm seeing this is the minimum and people are going as far as 250 and 300? And this is the new norm.
