Shall we trust matrimonial apps ?

I swiped right with a lady.

  1. She told she switched to her_curr_org last week but no update on LinkedIn (still okay many people don't do)

  2. I checked LinkedIn account activity. It was minimal but she wished 4 people over last 2 years on their job switch (so legit)

  3. After some conversations, she told to move to a different platform as jeevansathi is not smooth. I agreed. I got her request (20 followers and 70 following) on insta and no dp and no actual name. (I found it fishy or may be I thought koi test account banaya hoga to not let people see photos beforehand)

  4. Since I had all of my pictures in my Instagram account. I asked her to put her a photo, other than what is on matrimonial profile, on LinkedIn as profile picture and remove after 5 mins. It will help to validate her identity before going any further. (still not done)

  5. She told can we have chats on LinkedIn itself. I will send a photo there only. She didn't yet. (may be hesitant or something fishy)

  6. I have some friends in her_curr_org and I asked them to check whether she actually exists in their system or not (tada.. not found)

Possible interpretations? a) shaadi ka khyal hi mat aane do b) in person jo mile unse hi baat kro c) she exists (but hiding something) d) parents pe chhod do

PS: from my side I try to validate few imp pointers before engaging much in conversation.

Note: I used her_curr_org to name her current company. It's a well known company now (formerly a startup)

Be cautious, there are many scams going on in these platforms.
