Looking to shift to UX writing roles, from social media. Haven’t been able to land a decent role in 6 months. Got one offer finally but The new company is only going to provide 10% hike. Also has a probation of 6 months.

If it is something you want to do, you should. Its normal to get a paycut or a very small hike when changing specializations. Money can come later also. Read glassdoor reviews so that you are sure about the company atleast.
