Severance pay information
Is severance pay total gross salary or just basic pay ?
If gross salary then which components are excluded ? Performance pay is excluded.
Plus total number of years *2/3 ?

But some members who got laid off saying their HR told no severance pay for them . Since the bench period is 6 months is it true?
6 months in bench is any way loss for company. Plus why stay in bench for 6 months ? Removing them is acceptable but removing billable resources and taking out people from active projects and people who are recently released not providing sufficient time for getting allocated is not acceptable
Gross salary. Total years of experience in TCS plus 3 months severance pay
I think your 2/3 formula seems to be correct. I heard people around 20 years got 16-17 months salary.
