Can I apply for the sick leave during notice period ? Any leads ? It will affect my NP ?
Yes you can take sick leaves. If it's genuine take as much as you need and focus on your health. You can even provide medical documents to HR.
It won't affect your NP whether it is backed by a document or not .
Case1-One of my friends had an accident so he took sick leaves as much as needed(<2 days as well as > 2 days). He informed HR and provided medical documents. They will threaten you but everything will come around as your last working day is near.
Case-2 One of the managers escalated to HR when an associate from my project was taking sick leaves (around 4-5 in 1st 3 weeks of notice). They threatened him to increase np but nothing happened. Then he kept it decent like 2-3 days a month.
Sick leave during notice period? Typical lazy attitude. Yes, you can, but remember, "Aaram haram hai". Will your work ethic improve?
