Let's take this in another way. I don't care about the years of experience you have had. Tell me reasons on why you deserve that pay? If you can answer that, you will know what to do next.

Don't worry guys there will be lot of cases like this where employee had to settle for less compensation then previous because he was laid off so he joined that offer because he needed that job urgently, so please be supportive with us in these scenarios.

First things first, stop calling yourself Android developer. Companies that pay we'll never hire "Android developers". They'll hire "Product Engineer" or "mobile engineer" or some variant of that.

Next, start publishing clean crisp publicly visible open source apps or demos videos. Doesn't matter if the app exists, do it anyway. Show people you have a taste and an X-factor. You won't reach 35Lpa in a short term without luck, those days are gone.

Leetcode furiously and regularly. It helps.

Are you aware about the latest developments in Android field?
What kind of architecture are you using? MVVM & MVI ?
Did u work in any complex apps ?
Do you understand java well ?
Aware about jetpack compose ?
Do you understand Android core parts not just the top layer ?

Am an android developer myself and I have seen some profiles like you . The only difference I see is in level of knowledge.

Am not sure how week you are will development so I have asked the above questions.

Ask those questions and if u have negative answers to atleast 2 questions then you have to concentrate on ur upskilling . If your answers are positive then you have to concentrate on switching to a good company. And that doesn't mean you have to come to startups If you are comfortable with service based orgs also that's fine I have seen folks getting 25Lpa ( 5 yrs exp) in Accenture, Mphasis etc...

You need a switch. Your first switch should easily take you to 20-22 LPA. Just try for a good product based org and quote this number justifying current industry standards and trends. Try other places and leverage your current offers. 2 switches in a year should get you there.

Thanks bro, it feels hard to follow that Because companies could also have expectations from someone they are hiring.
But I think I have to do it, because salary is too less and planning home.
I Will try to reach to 25+ in a year

Leave service companies and go for product startups..
