Trending @Accenture; September promotion and Hikes ?

Are the September hikes and promotions default ones? In my case, I was moved from Level 10 to Level 9. My manager claims that he personally pushed my promotion. But my concern is — usually, a senior-level promotion should come with a hike of around 20–25%. So why did I receive only a 13% hike?

The management levels like 9, 8, or 7, can someone clarify whether such promotions are default or based on manager recommendations?”

Its not a default one, its a backlog clearing based on the performance who deserved promotion in last cycle but not got into because of the limited slots. I got the hike of 13% from L9 to L8, having 10.10 yrs of experience and started as an ASE in Accenture.

Most of them like 95% of them got 13% hike. Same happened in the last May cycle as well.

Seems like 13% is the new standard.

Did the promotion show up in performance rewards or pending with only communication from supervisor?

Then why you've mentioned as Assistant project manager in grapevine 😃. Anyways here's an eye opener if you're really at level 10 at 8 years exp : Many People with 3.8 to 4 years of experience are at level 10.

I know someone who is at level 11 and he didn't got the promotion in September cycle but he got hike which is around 19%(so basically he got more than what people got after promotions). He had P4 in his primary and secondary skills and what I know there is separate budget for employees who has p4 or p4 proficiency. So in short if you want good hike get at least P4 proficiency.
