Senior folks (10+ years). Have you switched from PMing to some other role?

I am a PM with 10+ years experience. I am now interviewing with Meesho for Heading their lending vertical. This is not a pure PM role but it involves setting up a vertical grounds up. Not sure if this is a right role for my career right now. Any thoughts would be appreciated 😌

At inmobi many senior product people have taken up product plus gm role. They are now in charge of business outcomes.

Kind of important post director/vp position. It gets really narrow at the top. Expanded responsibilities plus better pay.

Makes sense. I know at least 2 people who have done this - 1 at Razorpay and other in Amazon

Yes. Personally, I feel PMing has a glass ceiling to grow. Best to move out when one gets closer to it.
