The SAC role is dual-proficiency (consulting + tech), whereas the TA role is single-proficiency (tech only), and the SAC role also offers higher pay.

That’s only on paper. Both may be doing the same work. SAC may get an additional specialist allowance. Typically all specialized units like DNA, CLOUD will have consultant roles where as unit Lille ADM will have TA roles
