As CG stopped the remote pickup option , tell me which post service is good and what is the expected amount for posting the laptop to the base location as I want to change my location, do I need to take special permission from someone for sending a laptop from a third party post service and what will be the steps .
I don't think it's allowed under any policy.
You have to visit the base location for submitting the asset and then visit the new location to pick up the new one.
Do we get a call from someone to surrender the laptop as in my case I have not recieved any calls. My new location is reflecting in portal.

Hello mate,first of all collect your new laptop from new base location,once you get it,raise a ticket in service central to surrender laptop. Courier partner for CG will come to your place,collect it and will give you a receipt for same.

Can you tell that my new location request is approved and reflected in portal. But I have not got any calls regarding the surrender of m laptop in base location.
Is it necessary to surrender or I can go with m y old laptop
