Self-taught frontend React developer

Hey everyone, as the title suggests, I'm a self-taught developer and am currently planning to start my job search. I'm originally from a finance background. I need a few tips on how to create an impressive CV for someone with no work experience. Is there anyone who shifted to tech coming from a non-IT background, or someone whose profile is very similar to mine? I would greatly appreciate any useful pointers. Thanks! :)

If you have experience in finance I’m sure you would’ve used websites and applications that are used by CAs/ tax people and eco stuff on a daily basis, create them as projects using react. That’ll give you some direction then try to apply to Fintech startup’s for internships and leverage your knowledge of finance anda experience. All the best!

That is a great idea, I'll try this out. Thank you! 😊

Yeah, I would like that. Can you elaborate on this a bit more please?

After working in taxation for a year and not liking my work, I thought of exploring other options and decided to explore the coding world a bit. That's when I stumbled upon Harvard's CS50 and I actually really ended up liking programming and thought of pursuing it full time.
