Brother is too unsure about India's future that's why he invested only 500 rs in NPS.

I don't see a point in investing in NPS. Did once because someone told me to do so, but then I stopped

NPS is only for those who don't have much idea on stock selection and want a good retirement corpus. If you have good knowledge in equity and other markets then you don't need to invest in NPS

Hey, first of all congratulations π. It's really a great accomplishment. I have some questions though (curious to know)
Since you are 25, you must be having 3 yoe approx. How much salary did you start? And it seems like you had 80-90% savings, was it remote?

I have 4 YEO. Started with 15LPA but got good hikes frequently and then was promoted almost every year. And I'm based out of BLR living in a gated society.
My savings rate is 80+% but I have good ROI on my investments as well

Nice. Any suggestions on where I should invest and how much in US stocks for good returns? Currently I have meta and Netflix stocks only.

Just curious, when did you switch to you current job. Reason for asking is because it is only quite possible to get this much worth if you switched early like in 1 year tops.

I'm 24 .. and not in development side. I am more in audit and consulting, it is surely going to take me atleast 7 more years to reach that base of 55, currently I'm at a base of ~12. But with 2 yrs of experience and considering I started off at base of 4, I think I am doing well.
I am just unsure if I want that slow growth or if I should switch to a field like development. Or maybe do a business.
I'm also planning for MBA in India , because my parents are hell bent on getting a degree, because it's valuable for marriage (because I clearly told them I don't value it)
So definitely I'll have a chance to shift my field post MBA.
I wanted your suggestion on what I can try and upskill around, and also
At that pay, is there any respite for you? Any life beyond work? Because I don't have it. And I desperately need it. But I have accepted that I might have to slog in for a few years before I see good growth.

On the MBA, I do think it can add value to you. But again, not sure how the market is going to go forward because things are changing rapidly. on the personal front I think I am doing fairly well, I have a decent work-life balance (not good, but it's manageable). I'm able to enjoy my life, so so far so good.

Thanks for replying π..
