Trending @Infosys; Self-Evaluation Closed – Need Clarity on Rating Discussion

When I open my iCount, it shows that the self-evaluation window is closed, but no one has contacted me yet for the rating discussion. I’m confused whether I will still get a call in the future for this discussion, or if the rating has already been finalized since the window is closed. Can someone please clarify how this works?

They don’t discuss rating. They discuss performance and then they decide rating and convey it later. If you didn’t have discussion on your performance , it’s entirely your fault. You should have filled the form , submitted and set up a meeting with your manager. In fact in the new process you should have been setting up a meeting every quarter and update / discuss on what you achieved in that quarter. If you haven’t submitted the form your manager is free to out what he wants. Changing a rating is very difficult especially from ME to CD , as no real justification is needed to give ME. You did good work and met project expectations will land you in ME.

I filled the self evaluation and contacted my appraiser to provide a suitable time to set up a meet but got no response .

Go ahead and schedule based on calendar and keep moving if he doesn’t join. You have it on record that way. But if you have submitted your form and he is aware of the work you do directky/indirectly then you should be fine. He will call you when rating is finalised

Rating has been finalized by this time. If no discussion happened you might end up with ME

I believe I deserve a commendable rating. If I receive an ME again, can I express my disagreement and request a reconsideration? I joined in July last year, and my first rating was the default ME. This time, I want my rating to reflect my actual work.

You can always discuss with your manager reg ratings, but it won't change.
