Trending @Wipro; Seeking opinions on Wipro's parental insurance.

The Wipro's parental insurance plan is charging ₹48k premium for a ₹4L cover comprehensive plan for including both. I've finished the 3-year lock-in plan /period.again from this November asking 3 year enrolling plan to opt with premium 48k plus. I am thinking it might be better to get a policy outside. Has anyone compared this and found a better deal external insurance ? What are the pros and cons? Can we port parental insurance to external insurance. Appreciate any insights.

It depends on age factor and any pre existing conditions then outside its will more and wait period in that case Wipro insurance is good , what I suggest is to start saving for medical emergency and keep growing .

Only go for Wipro if you don't have better option. My parents had pre existing diseases and Wipro comprehensive coverage starts from day 1 so I went with Wipro. I haven't claimed anything yet so don't know how's the service
