Trending @Wipro; Seeking Internal Support at Wipro: Unfair and Unnotified Termination
I’m reaching out to the Wipro community for support after going through a difficult and unexpected termination. This could happen to anyone, and I believe it’s important to address such situations to create a more supportive, collaborative, and safe workplace for all of us.
I moved from Coimbatore to Greater Noida for my job at Wipro, investing all my savings into settling down. However, soon after I settled in, I was asked to relocate again, this time to Pune. I asked for some time and the allowances mentioned in my offer letter to make the move. Unfortunately, my requests went unanswered, and instead, I received multiple warning letters.
To make matters more challenging, I had exams scheduled at the end of November, which were taking place at the Greater Noida location where I had just settled. Given this, I asked for more time before moving to Pune, but my concerns were ignored.
Without any prior notice or clear communication, I was terminated abruptly which I got to know on my last day of work when I tried to join my ongoing training. This came as a complete shock to me, especially after I had been doing my best to explain my situation and concerns. It felt like there was no understanding or consideration of the challenges I was facing.
Now, I’m in a difficult Situation:
-
No Relieving or Experience Letter: Wipro has not provided me with my relieving and experience letters, which are crucial for my future career.
-
Bond Payment: Despite being terminated, I’m being asked to pay for the bond, which I simply cannot afford given my current financial situation.
-
Financial Hardship: I had already spent all my savings on relocating, and with my low salary, I’m now left without the financial means to manage this situation.
I’m sharing this because I believe internal communication and HR processes need to be better handled. The way this situation was managed has left me feeling unsupported and uncertain about my future. It’s important that we work together to create an environment where employees’ concerns are heard, and fairness is prioritized.
If anyone has advice on how to address this internally or knows how to get the necessary documents, your guidance would mean a lot to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for any support you can offer.
This can happen to anyone please help if possible for any responsible person🙏
