Seeking Guidance on Transitioning from Mulesoft to SDE role/ Java Spring boot developer

I'm a developer with 4.3 yoe, I'm currently working on mulesoft(previously on Java spring boot). I'm exploring the idea of switching to a SDE role or a Java Spring boot developer. Can anyone please guide me on what current industries are looking for these roles and what should be the topics I need to prepare for the interview. Also if you have any tips for getting more interview calls and how to crack them? It would be much appreciated.
