š Today, I finally mustered up the courage to write about my real situation after keeping it to myself for so long and I am writing this with a heavy heart. This feels like my last attempt. It has been almost 14 months of my career break due to health issues, and I am still struggling to re-enter the IT industry. Despite my skills, certifications that I did during this career break, and genuine efforts, my resume often gets rejected right after screening. When I do get interviews, many end in rejection during the final rounds. The reality is tough: No steady income for the past 14 months. Applications through multiple job portals with very few positive responses. Financial pressure on me is building with every passing month. There are moments when I feel defeated. But I remind myself that giving up is not the solution. What I need is just one chance to prove myself again. š I am actively seeking IT opportunities where I can contribute with my experience in Software Developer role with tech stack comprising of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, MySQL, HTML/CSS, tools like Spring Tool Suite(STS), MySQL Workbench, GitHub, POSTMAN, Swagger UI, Sonar, EclEmma and Cloud (AWS, DevOps). My resume is more than qualified to pass ATS filters ā what I need is an opportunity, not immediate rejection because of a career gap. I did upskilling and certifications during this career break on Basics of Generative AI, DevOps & Cloud Computing. I am open to any software/technical based role, shift, or location that helps me provide a proper career as well take the responsibilities of family properly.
