Trending @Cognizant; Seeking Clarity on Promotion from PA to A and Impact of Warning Letters

Hi everyone, I am reaching out to get some insights regarding the PA to A promotion process at Cognizant. Recently, my manager mentioned that in her portal towards the end of August, my promotion status was showing as “Confirmed” in GoPerform. However, on 2nd September, I received a warning letter via email regarding an issue.

While some managers and senior managers have said that promotions and warning letters are handled separately, I’ve also heard from HR that a warning letter could potentially defer a promotion. I’m completing my third year at Cognizant on 26th October, so I’m quite anxious about how this might affect my promotion.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation, or know when the promotion-related emails from the CPO are typically sent out? Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful.

For context, I am part of the EPS Oracle team.
