Seeking Carrier Advice

I'm a second year student in a Tier 3 college in India, My branch is Mechanical but I'm interested in Programming. I want to become a backend developer and I'm stuck and confused on what tech stack I should choose, I am good with both Go and Rust but the job market seems to favor the MERN stack. I need advice on what I should learn for the current IT sector to get in as a backend developer

Java is literally the most famous language in the industry. People can joke about it as much as they want but 99% of companies use java and springboot

Learn whatever you want. No one is gonna not give you a job bcoz you don't know a specific language.

Hope, It's career not carrier. It's no less important.

Bro my advice is .. do some personal projects in whatever tech stack... Choose a non-traditional projects which involves flows and data ...

Tech stack has minimal impact atleast for freshers.. u should be open for learning...
