Seeking Career Transition Advice - CS & HR Professional with 9+ Years at Amazon
Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds you well.
I'm writing to seek some career advice as I'm looking to transition out of Amazon after nine-plus years. My background includes experience in customer service and currently, HR services. While I'm eager to continue my career within HR, I've noticed that many advertised roles require expertise across the entire HR lifecycle. My experience, while valuable, has been focused on specific areas within HR, such as leave management, transfers, and escalations. I'm open to exploring different facets of HR and don't have a specific niche in mind at this stage.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to best approach my job search. Any insights or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Would recommend getting in touch with a mentor probably from other companies you would like to work at. Check on LinkedIn or TopMate. They will act as a career better guide focusing on your domain.
++ If you find an ex-Amazon mentor who is successful post such a transition; similar to what you’re planning.
Thank you! This helps.
While what you have done sound very specific, don't think this will be enough to continue in HR related roles. Had I been in your position, I'd think about pursuing an MBA from a top college to improve your prospects.
