Seeking Career Guidance

Hi everyone! I’ve spent the last 2.5 years deep in the world of data migration, working primarily with Snowflake, SQL, and IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services). While I love the logic of ETL, I’m ready to move beyond migration projects and transition into a core Data Engineering role. I’m looking to broaden my horizons—specifically moving toward big data frameworks and more programmatic pipeline development. To my fellow DEs: What are the "must-have" skills I should add to my Snowflake/SQL toolkit? How do I best frame my migration experience to appeal to product-based DE teams? Are there specific open-source projects or architectures I should study? Would love any advice, mentorship, or resources you can share!
