
Seeking Advice on Resignation Process at TCS
Hello Everyone,
I recently submitted my resignation via email to the HR department at TCS and CC’d my manager and supervisor in the email. However, I have not received any acknowledgment or response from HR yet.
I am seeking clarity on the following points:

Which date will officially be considered as my resignation date – the date I sent the email or the date HR acknowledges it?

By when can I expect a response from HR at TCS?

If HR does not respond, to whom should I escalate my resignation for acknowledgment?
I want to ensure that I follow the proper process and avoid any delays or misunderstandings during my exit process at TCS. If anyone has gone through a similar situation or can offer guidance, your advice would be highly appreciated.

Same had happened with my cousin who left TCS. No update from hr or the manager till weeks.
However, the notice date was considered from when they sent resignation email. Things moved pretty much quick from 2 weeks prior the last working day.
You can always rely on managers if the hr delays or if you feel anxious.

Today was my LWD i was on Bench, HR will initiate process mail or separation 10 days bfr.. If 90 days then 80+ days only they start
U can complete all process in 1 day

I got the acknowledgement now date is confirmed or when acceptance come then date will be confirmed?

LWD will be considered from the day you emailed ur resignation . Even i got response from HR 3 weeks of my resignation email.

I believe TCS resignation support is the same for every corporation. I don’t work in TCS. So, I can share the resignation process that follows here. So, we have to first let our manager know in person about resigning. Then, we have to write an official email. We state the last working day and our notice period starts, which is 3 months. Uske baad after some time we get our relieving letter and FNF.

Oh TCS resignation support is easy. Pehle toh you have to let your manager know officially about the resignation policy. Uske baad send an official mail addressing the HR department and also your manager. Mention your last working day. Uske baad serve the notice period and then work accordingly. Zyada kuchh problem toh nahi hota isme.
