Seeking Advice on Post-Release Work Requests During Notice Period

Hi everyone,

My manager officially released me from my project on 31st December 2024 as I am currently serving my notice period. However, my team lead and manager are now reaching out, asking me to code for their project because they are unable to meet the client’s deadline without my involvement—even though I am no longer allocated to their project.

I need your advice: 1. Should I decline their request since I am not officially part of the project anymore? 2. If I decline, can they take any action against me during the notice period?
