Hi all, I save about 40k/month after all monthly expenses.

I'm planning to invest this amount in equities to maximize returns.

Need suggestions on where to invest? I'm aiming to accumulate 40L as a down payment for a flat.

Mutual funds SIP. 50% in index, rest in specialised sectors. Distributed 35, 35, 30 is small, large and mid cap respectively. Invest and forget, till you are at 50L. (taxation is a bitch) Your chances of outinvesting the active trader is far higher than timing the market. Stay vigilant.
