Trending @Accenture; Seeking Advice for a Friend in Accenture

One of my friends, who joined Accenture as a Software Development Senior Analyst (Level 10) with SAP Security (GRPC) as his primary skill, has been on the bench for the past 4-5 months. Despite multiple interviews, he hasn’t been able to secure a project, and this situation is making him quite anxious about his job security.

He is worried about whether he might face termination or be asked to resign due to the extended bench period. I would really appreciate any insights from those who have experienced or seen similar situations in Accenture. What are the possible outcomes, and what steps can he take to improve his chances of getting staffed?

Looking forward to your guidance. Thanks in advance!

If your friend is not able to clear project interview then it will be difficult for him to survive on bench. After 5 rejection the HR will schedule SME evaluation and if evaluation interview is not cleared then he/she may be asked to leave.

I have seen people on the bench for more than a year at Accenture. It’s natural to feel anxious, but instead of worrying up-skill and apply for another project.

This has been a problem where 2-3 years experienced people got level 10 in Accenture with having level 11 knowledge, it is alarming for those who frequently change Organization for higher salary without understanding own potential and what market needs.
