Seeing plenty of PM job postings, but no interview calls. Are companies genuinely hiring or just posting ghost listings? 🤔

No hiring, just marketing

Many of these are ghost posting. They ask you to complete assignment and then ghost you. If you go to interviews ask for neutral assignment and not one related to the product.

Many of these jobs are ghost jobs for the real ones no of applicants is very high. I would suggest getting referrals to get the calls

a few years back a HR friend of mine said, that they keep posting job opportunities with no intention to hiring. This is to keep a resume bank available at all time and keep up appearance of the company in the market.

That's when i decided, if people decide of refuse the job offer after accepting and no turn up on the joining day, its fine. no harm, no foul.
