Trending @Accenture; Security Alert
Yesterday I received a security alert from the IS Monitoring team and since then all my access was restricted excluding Outlook only. Now almost 24 hrs are completed. Yesterday they mentioned they are running some auto scan but in the morning when I did a check it was still in progress. Now they mentioned me to run the Anti Virus full scan which is running since last 9 hrs and not completed even 50%. I'm pretty sure I haven't opened any suspecting website or haven't downloaded any file. Is there will be any issue for me ??
I haven't run anything actually i completed the scan it took around 28 hours to get complete and luckily no threat found.
Did you run some weird software, or bat /exe/cmd file written by you? Was windows registry modified? 😂
I am assuming it is related to system compliance where all the system security related should be up to date..like patches,virus definitions..etc... If it is a cyber incident then you should not connect to the internet or any network and take the laptop to IT team
