Second Try! Product hiring

Since I didn’t get any response last time I am posting again. Everyday I’m applying 50-100 jobs on LinkedIn but no one has even viewed my profile, such a waste of time and energy.

Hey Buddy

Easy apply via linked in wont work. The best way to be considered would be to go via referral route.
Reach out to your friends, family and ex colleagues for referral.

Current company has fund issues as they made some wrong decisions, they have laid off more than half from tech and product team and squeezing the current team, it’s stressful and scary thinking about what if they lay off more.

Been there done that. I totally empathise with you. Jumping ships is the only way out.

As some other people shared, try to get referrals. Reach out to ex-colleagues, friends, friends of friends etc.

Hang on buddy! This too shall pass.

Hiring market is still not so good. Two things I can suggest, it might or might not work -

  1. LinkedIn Search - Use “Hiring + Role_applying” in the LinkedIn search box. This will filter out all the posts related to your criteria. Reach out to people making all these posts, I found that’s a very efficient way.

  2. Naukri premium for 3 months - Though quality of leads aren’t that great but I would still suggest to get something at this point in time. You can choose lowest package from them.

Last, feel free to take help from people on preparation here. A good resume and pitch is must to crack the roles in this market.

Good luck!

I would recommend going for project manager or coding related roles, just looking for PM roles will be tough in this market
