Trending @Accenture; SE to SSE PROMOTION
Accenture is my first company and I joined in 2019 and I got promoted to SE in 2020. After that no promotion but had a decent hikes until last year. All my old team mates switched to a rival company and now I am the front runner for SSE. How sure can I be that I will get promoted this December and will I get a decent hikes, my current CTC is 8.75.
There are many demand in a rival company who gives minimum 70% hike but my works are valued and have a good team in my current project. Am I making a mistake by not switching now?
So you have 5 years of total experience. However, your position is SE which can be improved. You can try to get promoted to SSE level. I think nowadays, employees with 3-4 years of experience are getting promoted to SSE level. But if u r happy with the current project, wait till November end, see if u r getting promoted and based on the outcome decide to switch.
When people will start getting the call regarding promotion and hikes?
It all comes to money or work at the end of the end. Which you value more depends on you. If you are having a good time here with no pressure at work then I strongly believe you'll get a promotion this December as per your MAL. But if you are to money, then try demanding more than 70% + in the rival company and switch.
