Trending @HCL; Screwed up Review and IDK what went wrong. Suggestions needed
Hey peeps It's been 10 months in the system after I joined on July 24 as an SMT.
My annual review went like I was being schooled by my RM . I tried my best to learn everything they gave but still I got 4/10 in every section .
I was told that everyone one that joined performs better than you . A complete failure you are and a super slow learner. As per my RM because of me none of the deliverables stopped but still I was told to pace up or find new team IDK what went wrong. I am scared about this marking system 4/10. What will happen now ? Am I gonna go on PIP or what ?
Well I am no one to judge you but firstly you definitely need to learn a lot.
Coming to your question, if ratings are 4/10 then it's likely that you will be on PIP .
If you think RM is doing it purposely then try having a word with the senior manager with the stats that you may have.
Present your tasks, deliverables and time taken, challenges you faced.
Avoid comparing your tasks and deliverables with colleagues unless really required.
Its highly unlikely your ratings will be changed now .
At the end I would say it's never an end. If you have skills, work ethics and dedication then if not this then some other organisation.
Probably pip as rating is too low , assuming it is averga of 3 quarter,find something else
