Scope of Functional Consulting

Hey, I'm a fresher and recently i joined a mid-size (5k emp) B2B Saas fintech company as a functional consultant. My job role is simply to configure the company's products according to client's specifications, which forces me to think that I'm adding no skills whatsoever except SQL which i can bank on for a switch. I thought since the role has "consulting" in it would be similar to management consulting but it's not.Should i quit and go back to cloud or is there scope for functional consultants?
