Trending @Capgemini; Scene on BENCH ?
I'm in BENCH from last 2 months, I just complete my 12 days and sit at home,
- do nothing the whole day
- Completed many web series and movie Now I'm bored, no one is messaging me, no project calls Nothing
- Also reporting to pune which is not my base location(Mumbai), so don't know anyone to hangout with
- I just go to the office, punch my card spend a few hrs and come back . . I want to know that What will happen if I stay like this, will they fire What should I do If you are on bench What do you do ? Do you report according to SPOC said and complete 8-9 hrs daily
Buddy being on bench for long is not good
At some point they might ask you to leave
So utilise this time up skill yourself and get certified in whatever domain you are interested update the same in your profiles in GTD R2D2
Reach out to RMG team and check for projects
Bench period might seem fun but it’s scary when they start firing people on bench and they do it very often.
U should return to base location for reporting and punch in out in bench period this could be violation. One of the key to remove from company.
Learn new skill set and pitch in with hr for roles n responsibilities up skilled newly.
Chit chatting will not help in longer run, out stand from crowd of bench members. I see lot many are in bench with very less knowledge.
They will not remove, they would provide 3m notice for any only non performers will get 1m notice and 2m adv salary
Heads up with positive attitude to reach until you succeed :)
