Scared of the ongoing project.

I recently started working on a client project at my company. This is my first project since joining as a fresher two months ago. The problem is that the tech stack is completely different from what I have been working with for many years. I have zero experience in JavaScript.

I’m unsure how to move forward in this situation. I have attended team calls and tried to understand things, but I don’t think I grasped them very well. I’m scared of continuing like this because this is my first project, and I don’t want to let anyone down. The office team has shown a lot of faith in me and treated me very well.

What should I do?

Just wait and try to take things slow. I was in a very similar position as you are right now. Try to learn and understand the project requirement. I’m sure it’s not rocket science and with time, you’ll be able to do tasks as the other team members. Try to coordinate with your colleagues when they’re trying to complete a task, get understanding. Do it your own. Boom! You’ll Be good 👍
