SAP to Data science

Hi all,

I am working as SAP MM consultant , I have 4 years of experience only in ECC support and I didn't get an opportunity to work in implementation and S/4 HANA.

I personally don't see any growth and I am not interested in continuing my career in SAP because of its limited scope.

I am interested in data science but I don't have experience and I assume even if I learn now, getting opportunities in data science is very less hence I have decided to go for masters in data science in VIT.

Any suggestions or advices are welcome.

Your SAP experience (data workflows, ERP analytics) is valuable—pivot to Data Science by:

Learning Python/SQL + ML basics (freeCodeCamp/Kaggle),

Building projects using SAP datasets (e.g., inventory forecasting),

Targeting ERP Analytics roles (SAP + DS combo is rare and high-demand).
