Trending @Accenture; Sap basis or switch

I worked as a support engineer (service desk engineer) for my last project in hopes of moving internal teams I stayed with the team even though my primary skill sap basis has nothing to do with it. However now I'm out of the project due to a budget issue, now I'm tagged to another project for payroll team (HCM/sf) for which the kt has yet to start its already been more than 45 days with no work to do. I wanted to do a switch but not sure if I'm capable enough with this type of relevancy experience, is sap basis worth it or shall I just look into other career opportunities

Thank you both for your comments, is sap basis really worth it though and what margin can I expect if I switch now with 2.6 yrs of experience and 5.75 CTC
and what will I get 10 years down the line

I would suggest if you have Sap Basis skills then start searching for projects with that requirement... If not, just self learn and make a switch, don't wait for too long where you don't wanna be...As it would become difficult to switch over time because more would be expected from you ...

Accenture is just randomly pushing into any stream. but i would recommend you to look for your primary skill or go for other domain if you can learn
