Sandeshkhali (WB): Mass r*apes of SC/ST Hindu women enabled by TMC Leader

Why is no mainstream media channel appropriately covering this horrendous news?

In a village named Sandeshkhali (WB), mass rapes of SC/ST Hindu women enabled by TMC Leader Shahjahan and his goons. On top of this, their lands have been taken over, a Jiziya-like tax has been imposed on them and their being forced to convert - along with mass rpes, kidnappings and sexual harassment of women while their husbands and fathers are beaten till their helpless.

Section 144 has been imposed by WB CM in an attempt to stifle all dissent - even though the court order has declared that 144 cannot be imposed for this. Many witnesses have been going missing - allegedly taken across the illegally porous India-Bangladesh border. Protesting women and opposition workers are being jailed by the TMC govt. The WB Governor visited the village and his convoy was later attacked by a car full of goons. Lawlessness, extreme cruelty and utter fascism is on shameless display but no TV channel is giving this due coverage.

Didi does many more shit there than this.

Bengali used to be rebel during independence. Somehow political class has killed that spirit.

I'm scared to think what else happens that goes unnoticed if even this is not getting proper media attention despite protests by the central government leaders.

My maid said land grab by politician is becoming a nuance in villages. As people go to work to cities, TMC gundas do land grab, once they come back they ask them to sell them for peanuts. TMC does this to run political party expenses it seems.

The lack of comments on this post is in microcosm the reality of society. People of SC/ST are regarded as the lowest rung irrespective of faith for this country. National media also doesn't seem to find any incentive to highlight these incidents whatsoever. Coming to how Mamata runs the state, sadly it's time to call WB Greater Bangladesh. It's only the tip of the iceberg as to how evil the woman really is. She's the Butcher of Bengal, having sanctioned thousands of unconstitutional killings over the years, imposed Bengali in govt exams in non-Bengali regions in North Bengal(fyi some parts of Bengal were never part of it), bought every local leader's allegiance and if dissent follows impose section 144, bring CRPF, shoot them down and also ban internet and media in such places.

Yup, even the SC/ST Commission and Women's Commission are barely doing anything to help the victims. Seems they only do paid protests and outrage.

No mainstream media TV channel coverage is very shocking - especially when many influential people like Smriti Irani and JP Nadda have been giving press conferences and attacking statements left and right. It seems that this doesn't fit their agenda or they're being paid to not cover this. They're all too busy covering a political protest by rich farmers and middlemen.

Coming to WB, it is indeed turning into an utter dictatorial lawless state of Greater Bangladesh. Sandeshkhali is just heart-breaking and horrendous - makes my blood boil and heart wrench in pain at the same time. People seem to have forgotten or haven't even heard of Marichjhapi where THOUSANDS of Dalits were massacred by the communist party of WB. Unfortunately, there have been many more such massacres by TMC and CPI-M in West Bengal.

I used to scoff at demands for President's rule in WB but I now think it's time to start considering it SERIOUSLY.

I wish only outrage and abusing her would save the state. But we need to do more.
