Salesforce Dev ~ PM transition

I'm a Salesforce Developer (4 YOE), recently I've developed an interest in becoming a Product Manager.

Can anyone guide me here how I can become a PM? I have worked with PM, POs and have knowledge in agile and scrum.

But I'm not from a Tier - I college and don't have an MBA.

Looking into the current job market how can I transition into a PM role and how much package can I expect in the role?

My current package is 8.24lpa fixed and 1.73lpa variable
